Tarpon Contracting has completed a number of Structural Carbon and Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (“CFRP” and “GFRP”) Rehabilitation Projects, in Water Transition and Storage Structures (reservoirs and storage tanks, treatment plants, large diameter pipes). Structural Carbon/Glass Fibre Reinforcement is suitable for strengthening structural components (e.g. concrete, brickwork, timber and steel) against flexural and shear loads; due to: increase of loading capacity, changes of building utilization, repair of defects, or meeting changed standards or specifications.  CFRP and/or GFRP are suitable for structural reinforcement in many civil and commercial infrastructure projects.
